Happy Halloween!

The boys were ready for trick-or-treating

He got over it...

yummmmm - chocolate!

Halloween was a success this year! Two little boys in two costumes with a limited number of tears. Woo Hoo! S-u-c-c-e-s-s! That's the way we spell success!

Wyatt was the perfect little trick-or-treater. We had just listened to the U of I game on the radio where the Vandals squeaked out a win against LA Tech. 35-34! (Go Vandals). I'm always making Wyatt say, "Go Vandals!" so he was in full Vandal form when we hit the streets for Halloween. He went up to a house, rang the doorbell & when someone answered the door with candy he froze. I said, "Wyatt, what do you say?" and he said, "Go Vandals!" Too funny! I'm not sure our BSU Donkey loving neighbors loved it as much as we did!

Linder Farms Pumpkin Patch

This is Wyatt's class. Yes, that's my little angel in the front row with his hands covering his face. Little turd!

This is Sophie trying to hold Wyatt's hand. He pulled his hand away faster than I've ever seen him move. Not cool, Wy!

Wyatt finding the perfect pumpkin.

Wyatt running around the hay-maze. He's got a great smile.

Wyatt's preschool class went out to Linder Farms to visit their pumpkin patch. We've done this for a couple of years and I was dreading going b/c there is always sooooo much going on. It's not like you just go out & pick a pumpkin....oh, no. Where would the fun be in that??? There's a tractor ride, a jumpy house, petting zoo, fair food...and the list goes on and on. I get tired of telling Wyatt "no" to all of the extras. I know, bah humbug, huh? Well, if you go to the farm early with a class, there are no extras! Woo Hoo! No bouncy house! No petting zoo! No fair food! It's awesome. We had a great morning with his class.

We took the kids on the Thunder Mountain Pumpkin Liner last month. The train ride was from Horseshoe Bend to Banks. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. Wyatt, of course, loved every second of riding on the train, but couldn't have cared less about the pumpkin patch!

Happy Birthday Max!

I know everyone says it, but I can't believe Max is 1 year old already. It's gone by so quickly! It seems like he just arrived - all skinny & twiggy & now look at this sweet little guy. We celebrated with a pool party at my parent's house. It's so nice to be able to celebrate a summer birthday!

He's such a blessing. He's not walking yet....but it probably won't be long. He keeps up with his big brother and is so spunky! I can already tell that he's going to give me a run for my money, just like Wyatt. I guess we wouldn't have it any other way!
